Michigan | I bought a JD 9660 combine years ago that came with a Brown box for a harvest monitor. We have a 20/20 monitor for planting,so we set that monitor up for as aharvest monitor system that used the brown box for a moisture reading for a few years until the sensor in the bin kept acting up and finally went bad. I purchased the moisture sensor that mounts on the clean grain leg and no longer need the brown box. My question is can I now use said box for auto steer on this 2006 9660 combine?
I have gone through the settings in the box and have found auto steer screens, but have not gone any further. I have a ITC globe on my 9460R, can I mount that on my combine and use the brown box for simple swath setting when combining with a grain head? TIA
