Pasture is clear of trees and flat. It's sat idle for 1-2 years. Instead of stocking it I'd like to put it up for hay. Little blustem is the main grass. Would it be worth putting a clover in or KS common alfalfa at a low rate to bump protein? If so how much? Do you need to let it sit and read send before swathing for longevity? Tia
