Subject: Height for Streamer Nozzles

Hereford, TX
I bought some Tee Jet three hole streamer nozzles to topdress my wheat. The brochure for nozzles says the boom height should be the same as the nozzle spacing. My nozzle spacing is 18”, and I’m having doubts that I can run the boom that close to the ground without the ends of the boom hitting the ground while I’m running 13 mph. Would I be better off running every other nozzle so that I can have a 36” boom height? How does everyone else run the three hole streamer nozzles?
