Subject: Hydraulic hose size

Working on a project on converting a Valmar fertilizer spreader to independent hyd drives, there will be a hyd motor on each side, there is currently 2 sets of 3/8 hydraulic hoses that run hyd cylinders to engage/disengage a clutch that I'm eliminating wondering how much oil can flow thru a 3/8 hose (about 15' long to feed an orbit motor) don't have the motors yet but I think they each use about 5 gpm, my thinking is the 3/8 hose should be enough to run 1 motor?? as there will be enough left over hoses (4) to use a pair for each motor.
