Bettendorf, IA | Last Fall I was in a jam and bought a 'new to me' truck from local KW dealer to pull a hopper.
2014 T800 EXT cab. 600K miles, Cummins ISX15 power. lockers, 210 WB. It was a previous fleet truck, but they had no maintenance records. There were a few minor things that needed to be addressed and the dealer took care of them after harvest. Paid $55K.
Dealer is offering to trade me into a 2015 T880 w/ 300K miles. Cummings ISX15, lockers and 205 WB. It has maintenance records and appearance is about the same as the 2014. Price is $15K to boot.
Is this a good deal? Would NAT's prefer the traditional T800 or would you go for the one year newer T880 with half as many miles for $15K?
