Northeast KS, Undercover(crops) | Drilled with jd 1890 at 1/2" deep on 11-21-18. Soil was 38 deg and wet (slick by trees etc). It got cold and and the ground froze, also had a couple week long stretches of 50 deg highs. The vast majority of what I dug up a week ago looks to be still viable, I can find anything from swollen and healthy white inside to a 1" green shoot above ground. I found 1 seed that was clear water inside (rotten). We will see what we have when it warms up! There aren't many weeds present, but I wonder if the ones that are there will choke out or not.
