Subject: Thiosulfate at planting or sidedress time?

Fayette Co, Iowa
Ive been adding my thiosulfate or (sulfer) at side dress time with coulter injected method for 5 plus yrs. My agronomist says he would rather see thio out there at v3 to v4 than to put in in with our 32% at planting 2x2.. He says if we were to get hard rains.. (which it happens) it will leach threw the soil profile and ill loose the sulfer before the roots can adhere to it.... What's your guys thoughts? Reason im asking is I had some yellow stripes on the leaves in a few fields early leaf v-2 - v4.. Was told that zinc or sulfer could cause that..
