E Central NE | A sales rep stopped by my shop the other day trying to sell me Commence seed treatment and Generate for in furrow application on corn. I was kinda busy so didn’t give him much time to throw his sales pitch at me, but he said it costs about $16/unit to treat seed corn with Commence and he claims they are seeing a minimum of 5 bu/acre yield increase. I guess I’m skeptical. Has anybody used Commence seed treatment or Generate in furrow and seen a positive return on investment?
