Subject: Shipping container barn and lightning?

Central IL
Has anybody cut the side out of a shipping container to make more shelter for cattle? I thought it was a pretty good and cheap idea till a friend of mine mentioned lightning. I used to rent a pasture several years ago with a large (10,000 gallon) steel tank in the middle of it and had some calves struck and killed around it. But on the other hand lots of short pole barns around and haven't ever seen or had death from lightning around one of those. Think it would be safe? I want to use it to make another lot for calfing and maybe for weening. Was gonna call it the cowtainer.
