Subject: How much more compaction would you expect.....one tractor vs another?

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

A question as to how much more compaction would one belted tractor cause compared to another.

How much more compaction would you expect from a belted tractor weighing 41K, as compared to one weighing 31k......both having 18 inch belts, on 120inch centers, and the heavier one being 2--3 feet longer than the other------------ significantly more, not much?

Ground would be tilled ground, chiseled, ripped, maybe row cultivated.

I am testing my gut feel........which says not much.

What say you?

Thanks.
