Subject: Milwaukee fuel impact loosing power?

Sw. Ill
Anyone notice performance loss on their impacts? I have a 1/2" 18v fuel. Got it on black friday 2 or 3 years ago. Seemed like it used to be unstoppable. Now im finding things it wont loosen. Mainly rusty stuff. My batteries still hold a charge. Came with two 5.0's

Its still an animal, just not what it used to be?
Do i need new batteries?

On my old nickle cadium dewalt tools, a new battery made a world of difference even if the old ones still still took a charge, they lacked voltage or something.
