Subject: Weighing corn plot with yield monitor?

McLeod County, MN
I have an Agleader yield monitor in my combine. It counts the weight while I am combining. Could I just use that to weigh my plot or do I still need to get a weigh wagon out? Accuracy is pretty important to me. This way I could go down and back instead of always driving empty to one end. Going to be doing a population plot this coming season for corn. Thinking of putting it on a more variable piece of ground than my usual site this year.

Also have seen an app for your phone that will measure the field as you move. I could measure every pass from the seat of the combine. Would sure beat the walking wheel.

Here is a shot of the monitor I have.
