| Started with 500 acres of beans to do, my own and a couple of friends that I always do. Tonight I have 20 acres left that have water standing in them.
The way the year started I wasn't so sure we would get this close by now.
We still have better then 400 acres of corn to do but I don't worry as much about corn.
It is all done with a 9550 JD with a 20 foot head and a 6 row corn head.
The best part is feeling good enough to spend the hours in the combine. There were times this summer I wasn't sure I would be able to stand the work of the harvest but I feel pretty much normal for an older farmer.
