Subject: Trimble Autopilot on Case 2188 combine

We recently installed a new autopilot system on a Case 2188 combine and followed the step by step instructions to the T.
We are running the system with a Trimble FMX display. We went thru all the calibrations according to the manual and got
the system up and running with only one problem. When we engage to come back online the combine steers back online fine
but the rear wheels start oscillating back and forth really fast and shaking the head really bad when it straightens out on
the AB line. The instructions on the display say to reduce the Gain setting from the factory setting of 15 down to whatever
in order to solve the problem. We have reduced it in small increments all the way down to 1 with no luck. The funny thing is
that when it is online steering with the oscillating going on, you can disengage it with the icon on the screen and re-engage it
within like 2 seconds and it will stay online and not do the oscillating thing until you steer it offline and re-engage it again.
I'm lost on this one. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Greg
