East Central Ia | We have been having issues with our 2006 MX305 with factory auto steer for several years.
It got demoted to “spare” tractor duty so it hasn’t been a huge issue until now. But we are now using it to pull our cover crop seeder and the auto steer really needs to work!
It keeps losing its swath and you have to select a new guidance line and then switch back to the original one to get it to work. It seems to work better doing straight lines then curves. It’s really pretty weird and has a PITA to track down any issues. I am about 90% sure at this point it’s the Nav controller.
This is controlled by a Pro 600 with a 252 reciever.
What is the Nav 3 and would that work with my setup or do I need to stick with a Nav 2 replacement?
Hoping my precision guy has a used one I can try to make sure that’s the issue.
