| Almost a year ago I replaced the touch screen on my AgLeader Insight. I think there was a 2 month wait time to get the replacement screen but I have an Integra that I rarely use at the same time as the Insight so I just used the Integra while I was waiting.
When the screen came in I replaced it and I pinched/pulled the wires that go to the power button when I re-installed the back cover. It would only boot up for maybe 2 seconds before but died again.
I took it back apart, noticed my mistake, relieved the strain on the power switch cable and put it back together. Worked fine on the AC adapter sitting in the house so I thought I might get lucky and it would work OK in the field.
My employee used it in a sprayer shortly thereafter and said it kept shutting down when he hit bumps so we switched back to the Integra again.
I'm finally getting around to looking at the power button wires again. I carefully cut the insulation off where they got pinched and the conductors are not broken.
I do see a few broken conductors where the wires are soldered to the button itself. I doubt that what I did caused that but maybe it did. It still appears to be a very strong solder bond to the button.
Trying to figure out what I'm missing here. I feel like it has to be closely related to that set of wires since it greatly improved when I removed the strain but I can't really see anything terribly concerning either.
I will of course cover the exposed conductor on the wires with electrical tape before I try again. Pictures were taken before doing so.

AgLeader Insight intermittently losing power.
