I'm having trouble with the faucets I've been buying. They all use a bathcock elbow to hook up the supply lines. I'm buying the brass bathcocks with chrome plating. The tapered metal on metal seal seams to be spreading the faucet and cracking it, as shown in the picture.
There has to be a better way to hook up the supply lines.
