MD | first time growing feeder pigs for myself and to sell. going to butcher at 6 months of age shooting for 250-300 lbs. cheapest feed i can get hold of is 50lbs of cracked corn to 12 lbs of soybean meal to 1 lb 10 ounces of minerals. works out to bring a 15.95% protien content. anyone else have a different mix that works? maybe something with a little higher protien? pigs are currently 50lbs and two months old... yorkshire cross.
