Central Ky | What's your favorite way to cook (or prepare) a salt cured ham? My daughter is in 4H and she went through the process of how they are cured. They start by picking 2 hams out and then have to salt them down and go through the whole process. Anyway long story short she entered the best one of the 2 hams in the county fair and it won the she got to take it to the Ky state fair and she got first place there in her age group. Now we have 2 hams hanging in the basement. Let me know the best way you have found prepare. | |
