Eastern Shore of MD | So I walked into a college class a couple years ago and the professor made a comment about the Pioneer hat I was wearing. I asked him what was wrong with it and he said 'nothing,' just commenting that it looked like the Satanic cross. I googled it and it really surprised me - it DID. As a Christian, I quit wearing it; it felt weird.
We discussed it some before class and the point was made that big companies spend BIG $$$$ on logos and research so the chance of this being a coincidence is pretty small - or is it just that?? My wife happens to do marketing and advertising and her comment was that it was very unlikely they didn't know about the similarities between the two. Another example we talked about was Monster energy drink; the 'M' is made of the Greek symbol for '6' in triplicate, or, '666.'
Back to Pioneer - am I over thinking this?
