Subject: a bit of data

southcentral Minnesota
Since we have a few here speculating on the health of sector, let us look at some data and charts provided by USDA.

https://www.ers.usda.gov/media/9718/farmsectorindicatorsfebruary2018...

https://data.ers.usda.gov/reports.aspx?ID=17835

https://data.ers.usda.gov/reports.aspx?ID=17834

https://data.ers.usda.gov/reports.aspx?ID=17831

So much more to look at as USDA provides a wealth of data
Also this chart from an article here shows the decline in number of farmers in the last 100+ years. The eighties saw a slow decline in numbers compared to the 50’s,60’s or 70’s and to note 1975.
