Posted about this a couple weeks ago and have some down time to mess with it again.
Have a cruizer 2 that when powered on instantly says no gps position fix. Does not even say “gps detection in progress” as it should like the first picture.
Somebody commented and said go to tools and see if it says source but it does not, I think they said it might need a new board.
I’ve checked antennae outlet from monitor and it has 5 volts, and when plugged in the antennae cable has 5 at the end of it also.
I’ve got two antennae’s and two cables and when using either it doesn’t change anything. Even borrowed a third from someone else and didn’t change anything again.
Anyone had to send these in for a new board? Cost? Anyone ever took a board out and looked it over to see if there was anything obviously visible?
