Subject: Cows eating thistle heads.

Ne Nebraska
Good or bad? Good to get rid of them or will them seeds be viable yet and be nicely placed in a manure pile around the pasture. Been behind getting them chopped and sprayed this year. Some are gettin purple heads but not white yet. Got to one pasture today to spray and ALL of the heads that had any purple had been ate off. Curious to hear thoughts. I’ve heard both ways.

Also at what point is it too late to spray. Been pullin any heads that starting to show white. Not many yet tho.
