Refresh my memory--- how tall must the soybean plant be in order to not kill it by running on it?

If I remember correctly, the plant must be in the V1 stage before it can handle damage.

If the plant is run over before that time------- it is probable that the plant will break off, resulting in separation of the cotyledon.  Am I correct??
