They didn't offer contracts for 2017 but still bought barley. This winter they said the same, no contracts but we will but what you grow. For 2016 they wanted only 2-row so we did and it turned out good. Then for 2017 and 2018 they wanted 6-row again.
Good thing this planting season is delayed, I guess I won't be planting any for them now.

Meanwhile, a marketing firm I subscribe to put out an article today stating that barley supplies are expected to be the smallest in 25 years.
