West Texas | I’ll start my saying I don’t really know the first thing about an LP system with points and regulator as I grew up around diesel. My wife’s grandpa had a 69 year model LP 4020 we just bought from the family. One of his boys said grandpa had the distributor pulled off to work on it before he passed but never got it back on. I do remember someone telling me a while back that they put a high energy ignition on a 4020 and it turned the tractor around as far as starting and running better. What all goes into changing the system over and is it very costly. This won’t be a workhorse but used as an auger tractor and other small task. More sentimental than anything. Thanks | |
