Subject: JD 1770nt to vDrive questions ; precision planting

Currently running esets with Hyde drive, running row flow, Air Force dn force and clean sweep. Switching to v drive and v set.
Have removed electric clutches, shafts, wiring harness for the Deere clutches. Can I also remove the epm harness as well as the epm boxes??? Would like to remove all wiring that is not needed before putting the precision harness on. Everyone from my precision dealer to Deere dealer thinks I can remove the epm harness but is not 100% sure though. I sure do not want to remove it then find out later that there is some planter function tied into this harness though.
I myself feel that as long as planter vac motors , marker and fold functions still work , which they all seem to when epm is unhooked, that I should be fine. TIA
