Subject: Bringing new pregnant ewes on a farm?

Northwest Iowa
Just had a opportunity arise where a guy is selling some pregnant ewe lambs due right in the same time frame as my first group of ewes. I really would like to take this opportunity as I’m ready to expand and it seems hard to find good breeding stock to buy every year and these bred ewe lambs are exactly what I’m looking for. My question is how much risk am I exposing myself by bringing new pregnant sheep on to the farm while having current pregnant sheep already there? I have a separate yard to keep them in until they lamb (feb 5 to the 10th) and have to be merged with my other ewes. What type of disease or problems should I be aware of? The individual selling as been in the sheep industry for a quite a few years and has a very nice flock and is not selling junk. Tia
