KS | I would like to put a reserve battery on my planter frame to have ample power for my CleanSweep compressor. I am thinking that this will allow the alternator to be able to keep up better if I add another battery in the system. It is on 8300 JD with I think the OEM alternator. Main question is how to keep this remote battery charged with the downstream load of the compressor? Do I need a diode in the positive wire to make sure that the voltage flows the right way and not back into the tractor system? TIA | |
