Do you ever buy a product because a celebrity endorsed it?

Do you ever watch a commercial and afterwards wonder what they were selling?

Some of the funniest commercials are a total waste because afterwards you don't remember what they were selling.

As much as I detest some of the Ron Popeil  type commercials I've got to admit I know what they were selling and they're to the point.

Some of the old Pepsi commercials were really funny and got their point across.  I watched one where a living assisted home got the Pepsi and a young kids party got  Coke, the old people were rocking and the kids were sitting around looking morose.  That drove the point home and highlighted the product.  A rare happening.
