oregon | I know this sounds like a dumb question but I've never adjusted disk scrapers. Sure, I've replaced blades and scrapers but never have spent the time to adjust them after they are on.
I have a 21 foot disk with 24 inch blades on a 9 inch spacing. It has solid set scrapers (no springs). How far from the disk blade and how close to the spindle or how close to the blade edge should they be? This past fall I noticed some places behind the tractor tires plug up more than other places. Soils are variable but mostly silt loams and silty clay loams. TIA.
