I read with interest the 'go to cold remedy' thread here a few days ago.   Like the OP, seems like when I get a cold now it hangs on and on and eventually runs down to my lungs and often leads to bronchitis.

I felt a cold coming on this past Saturday and bought Zicam nasal spray and used it according to directions.  I'll be darned if I'm not essentially over it  and no chest involvement and the symptoms were significantly reduced.

I'm generally a skeptic but not any longer.   Here's the old thread.
