Subject: JD 7000 16 row fertilizer tanks

Southeast SD
Guys - have a JD 7000 16 row front fold planter that has 6 of the standard JD liquid fertilizer tanks on the wings. They are all plumbed together now, we're needing to doing some repair/upgrading this winter and have wondered if it would be beneficial to have one roughly 400 gallon tank mounted on the center beam for fertilizer instead of all the small ones. The small ones aren't giving us much trouble but it seems to really clutter things up. Also is a little bit tricky to fill, we have to watch so that one tank doesn't fill faster and over flow before the others are full, not a huge problem but definitely need to be paying attention.
Has anyone done this swap and have you regretted not having the weight out on the wings?

Thanks guys.

Chris
