| The bearings went out on the lower vertical auger gearcase on this combine. My question is on reassembly do u install the bearings in the housing and then slide the shaft up and through. This is the on the shaft that drives the auger going up. It looks to me as u would put one in from the bottom and then the top one goes in sitting between the 2 snap rings. Obviously the spacer and spring go in before the top bearing. is this the correct procedure or what is the correct way to assemble that shaft and bearings? Tia | |
