Currently run John Deere balers, 568 & 569standard. With custom work we bale around 4,000-5,000 corn stalk bales a year. Have been very happen with the size and hardness of bales that a green baler kicks out. Have put about every part in the 568's john deere makes. Not a fan of how the net wrap feeds, takes to many tricks to make net wrap tick smoothly.
Looking for opinions of guys that have had late model john deeres and went to either a New Holland RB560 or Vermeer 605N. Every color has downfalls but would be interested in hearing opinions of pros and cons of these two models.
Currently leaning towards the RB 560, many neighbors with red machines. They seem to be able to drive faster especially when stalks get tough, and make a hard bale.
Started baling stalks October 18th, still have 1 day of going left. Been difficult this year! | |
