Manitoba | We have a Kitchen aid dishwasher which is about 4 years old. For a while now it's been leaving behind food residue not so much the dishes but on the racks, door, and other surfaces. We don't have hard water.
Because of this issue we've been cleaning the filter inside the dishwasher before every load. I've checked the drain hose for blockage. It seems to drain the water properly. It also sometimes has a bit of a smell so we've run vinegar through it which helps a bit with the smell but we still have residue. Any ideas? One appliance salesman told me they're only designed to last about 5 years. It's also a little noisier than when it was new. | |
