Last night I posted about a problem with the unloading auger. I think we got it fixed. We put a new elbow on about three years ago and it looks like it had a slight flaw which made the auger screw rub on it, the old one was worn enough it didn't rub. But when we put the new one in it rubbed. It looks like in one area the elbow is not quite round compared to the auger tube and thats where it rubs. We ground about an 1/8 inch off about 1/3 around the flighting where it rubbed and it seems to run ok.
Now the next problem, we got the bean head on and the reel won't run. The reel drive pump is running but the hydraulic hoses don't feel like it is pumping any oil. Could it be electrical in the valve that I suppose controls the reel speed. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
