Subject: WM Drain Set up

I need some help/clarification setting up a scrapper.
1. Antenna height - I assume this is measured from the top of the antenna to the ground when the blade is fully raised. Mine is 137"
2. Survey height offset - I assume this is measured from the fully raised blade to the ground. Is the measurement entered as a positive or negative value? Mine is 19"
I'm cleaning out ditches and the blade height is always showing negative. I finally decreased my antenna height and did a new benchmark in the ditch and that got the blade height a lot closer. I'm still having to put in a cut offset on the install screen of 7-10". I've measured the blade to ground distance several times and it is always 19" but when watching the altitude on the fm1000 there is more than 19" of travel showing up...more like 27" - which maybe explains why the extra offset is needed. Is this normal? Do guys use a tape measure to measure the distance or should I use the amount of travel shown on the fm1000?
When would a person use the Relative Heights? And how are they used?
How often should a guy rebench in the same field?
