Subject: JD 9560 head drops sharply then tapers off.

NW Iowa. / SW Arizona
Last year every once in awhile when I hit the resume height button on my JD 9560 STS doing soybeans the head would drop sharply but then slowly go down to the proper setting operating properly after that. It didn't happen often but just occasionally.

I did just a little combining late yesterday and it did it all the time. I only have the head raised maybe 18" when turning around and hitting the resume button so it's not like the head is raised that high. If I have the head raised higher then that it will still drop faster then I'd like to see it. It never hits the ground but does come close. Is there an adjustment of some kind to fix this? I know on my 9500 there was an accumulator, I think it's called, that needed to be opened up for the bean head and closed for the corn head. Does this combine have this, I don't see one on this one.

I'm sure it's something simple I'm over looking but just looking for a solution. Thanks, Mark
