A little more news started to filter out of Dominica today with pictures of the devastation as aid began to arrive.

Then this evening the parents heard from our niece by way of ham radio.
It was short, just said 'are OK and the horses are Ok' ( they do saddle riding for tourists)
Also said they 'may have to come home later'.

So everyone now feels better although we knew they were going to a concrete shelter, you never know until you hear the good news.

Have to assume their roof at least is gone from their home as apparently 90% of buildings are in a bad state.
