South Central Iowa | Semi-funny joke stolen from a book. Thought I'd share given the debate below and ever ongoing about fundamentals versus technicals. The guy is a no fundamentals type trader; all supply and demand is represented in the chart and price. Here it goes:
So a Fundamental Analyst and a Technical Analyst meet for lunch one day. Being successful traders, they decide to meet at the finest steakhouse in the city. While dining, a steak knife falls from the table and stabs the foot of the Fundamental Analyst. Seeing this, the Technical Analyst is shocked.
"That looks like it really hurt!" He says.
"It sure did," the Fundamental Analyst replies, staring at his wounded foot.
"Why didn't you move your foot? You saw it coming," the Technician asked.
"Well, it's not suppose to be down there, so I thought it would come back up!"
