Any suggestions on that? It's getting a little long in the tooth but I enjoy using it for scouting fields since it has built in GPS and a bigger screen than my phone and I can observe the as planted maps with the JD Analyzer app on it.

I have tried a different cord. I have tried holding the power, down volume and home button to boot into the mode that allows you to upload a custom OS and then cancelling out. Now it's dead enough that it won't do anything.

A couple of times before it was dead and I was wiggling the cord around it would say "HDMI cable plugged in".
