mascoutah, IL | Have a 3600 box planter that had a chain jump off the last few days of planting. This is the one that runs from the small drive wheels. Went from a couple times the one day to about every ten acres on the last 40. Hadn't replaced the chains in a while so did that. Had about 30 acres of replant and the problem got worse. Finally got it all cleaned up today and had a chance to look at it. Sprockets and bearings look fine. What else is there? Have owned the planter since new in 09 and never had an issue. Need to figure it out now and not during corn planting next year.
