Subject: hydraulic driven spray pump

Texas South Plains
I keep reading where everyone says that their hydraulic driven spray pumps are east to set pressure and it stays where you adjust it to. On my 4450 and now new to me 4840, once the oil heats up to around 150 or so, the pressure will vary 10# or more. Screw on side of ace pump is screwed in all the way and controlling with Rabbit-Turtle control. Is there some trick or are my tractors just worn out. Thinking of going to a gas engine driven ace pump, mounted on back of sprayer (three point mounted tank and boom) this would help keep tractor hydraulics much cooler and get rid of my pressure swings. Any one else use an engine driven pump?
