Allegan County Michigan | I was discussing this with one of my clients just the other day...I had commented on how his 92 Dodge pickup was in such great shape rust wise. He told me his trick...he fabricated an under body flush tool that consists of a piece of pvc capped on one end and garden hose fitting on the other with a series of holes drilled in the pipe. Not sure of the hole size, you would have to start small and go from there to get good pressure/volume of water. The pvc pipe fits between the tires so must be 3 or 4 feet long. When he gets home at night, he turns on the hose and drives over the pipe as he pulls into his heated shop.
Pretty neat idea, I have not seen the tool yet, but was thinking a guy could also make a hand held version of this.
His 92 has original paint, daily driver, very little rust showing.
As Paul Harvey would say "for what it's worth"
