oregon | And boy, do I ever miss him. He is the type of worker that gets things done and does the job well. Actually it's been 8 years, I think, since he graduated high school and left for the university but as I age and as the work ethic seems to be disappearing amongst my available labor pool, I've become more aware of his absence.
He works in a hospital and says that people at work (in general) think they are working hard but that they are not working hard by his definition. And, he says that you really learn how to troubleshoot and to get things done on a farm.
Anyways, just a string of thoughts going through my head and it feels good to express a little bit here. | |
