coup, I cannot give you a quote to move your bins without knowing the brands and dimensions, style ect. However I charge 1.80-2.0/mile/vehicle to travel. (looks like around just under 500 miles) I run my semi, as well as two additional trucks, one hauls my tool cargo trailer and the other pulls a flatbed to haul your bin equipment that cannot stay on the bin during the move, as well as serves as an escort during the move. You could save some money by providing a truck and trailer(if necessary) to haul and be a rear escort during the move. If you would like to discuss this in more detail, email me at [email protected]

as a general rule of thumb I try to keep the final price of moving a bin, from concrete to final electrical at 1/2 price of a new storage bin. this does not apply to dryer bins, as they have several additional costs via. heaters, fans, stirrators, liners, continious flow systems, ect which have additional costs to be removed, repaired and reinstalled. 90 percent of the bins i move are 24 to 30 foot diameter bins, as well as a handfull of 36' bins each year. I very seldom move 18' bins, I usually refer these to a guy with a flip down trailer in my area. However in your case the milage does add some cost, ie. if your 24' bin is a 7 ring, 6800 bu. the travel fee w/ two trucks will add about 13 cents per bushel. I have set prices on standard size and brands of bins, depending on structural integrity(some bins are built alot cheaper than others) and I try to keep this on a level playing field for all of my customers.
