Subject: JAPANESE BEETLES


South West Michigan
Dad and I did a brief walk through the beans to asses the horseweed kill from last weeks spraying. Satisfied with the weed kill but kind of concerned with the numbers of Jap beetles on bean leaves,9-15/leaf on 10 inch high stalks. Not every stalk had them, in fact, we noticed alot of beetles were on dying horseweed leaves. Is this a concern right now, or watch the situation for a while? North/Central Ind
