SW WI | Looking at the posts below, looks like that isn't the case, yet. 6-10 and 8-14 day is showing much above precip in the upper midwest. For my area this is a little concerning. We are wet right now, don't need above normal precip.
Was a wet slow planting season, dried out to where I was concerned about needing rain, now back to we need to dry out. Wondering if anyone else has concerns about to much rain. Here, crops have went backwards this week from to much precip....especially beans.
Not killing the crop here, just saying what's effecting my area. After all the cool wet spring was somewhat met initially with skepticism and turned out to be an issue. Same thing with the dry weather, initial skepticism but many are very thankful for some timely rain. So now maybe cool and wet again and of course I have no idea if this will be a big issue let alone a market mover, but just at least on my radar. Anyone else? | |
