| thinking of planting crabgrass on 20 acres of sandy ground. would be putting up for hay most of the time but may graze once in a while if need a little extra grass. what is a good variety? also what is your fertilizer plan before you plant? hasnt been fertilized in a year or so. if i would broadcast and drag a harrow over would we get a good stand or is it better to drill? never done crabgrass so sorry for all the questions. Also is that something that will come back year after year?
Edit: how long do we have to get it planted? located in central kansas. can we get a couple cuttings a year off of it?
